The Engineering Chemistry Laboratory is well equipped to train the students of I year B.E. as per the syllabus prescribed by Visweswaraiah Technological University. The department received a grant of Rs.5.0 lakhs from AICTE under MODROB during the year 1999 for upgrading analytical instrumentation facility. Instruments such as UV-visible spectrophotometer, digital electronic balance, colorimeter, potentio meters and pH meters were procured. The existing facilities are being utilized by both UG & PG students to carryout their project work.
