The honourable President of India has envisioned a 2020 blue print for India which encompasses a total development of Indian society. Goldman Sachs, an investment banking in its BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India, China) report sees India as Future Economic Superpower in 2020. SJCE which has been pioneering technical education in the country is heading towards this techno-economic development. With due support and fullest encouragement from JSS Mahavidyapeetha, we are advancing towards a total quality development in engineering curriculum. To enable this dream, we have decided to form a constructive long-term partnership between industry and institution. A knowledge network, which already exists with some blue chip companies, would be expanded to all areas of engineering spectrum. The total development plan includes infrastructure, faculty and overall student development.
One of the micro changes in the new liberalized world is to benchmark the best practices in creating sustainable human capital. An Indian is now recognized globally as a knowledge brand. The primary motto of SJCE is now to move up the value change from being a mere technical education provider to knowledge quotient inculcator. We want our students to get embedded with the idea of pre-spirit rational thinking and contribute constructively not just as an Indian Citizen but as a Global Citizen. To cherish this dream we have prepared a blue print through TEQIP that caters to this vision.
I am extremely happy to inform that World Bank as a part of TEQIP programme has agreed to work with us financially in a big way to realize this dream. We are working with many other Government and International Institutions to succeed in our efforts. Our aim is to realize SJCE as an Institution of Excellence and churn out techno ambassadors for world at large.
